This is not an Afrikaans word.
The nearest expressions or words are 'Man, ja' which is an interjection used when admitting defeat, as in 'Man, ja, we were beaten by the All Blacks' - but this has nothing to do with religion (although the Springbok supporters may be acolytes).
The other is maybe a word 'manna', which means the same as the English word - a God-given, nourishing phenomenon that is found in the Bible, when the Israelites were trekking through the desert.
You gave very little context, but I would guess this would be a word from one of the African languages - of which there are about a thousand.
