A piece of clothing, referred to often in a French text I'm reading, I can't seem to find an English translation.

Are you sure of the spelling? Are you sure it is a garment?

Chorba is closest to the Arabic term for "soup," a word that is now found in Romanian ("ciorba").

On the other hand, "Chador" is the Farsi word for an outer garment for women.

I can't think of anything else at this time.
