Dutch term

Kokers

Dutch to English Medical Medical: Health Care Pharmacy documentation
From an audit of compliance with pharmacy franchise requirements:

De apotheek doet mee aan landelijke acties en projecten van de
XXX-apotheekformule:
• healthcheck;
• *kokers* besteld (stoppen met roken);

I found a similar reference on line:

De medewerkers bijscholen op gebied van afvallen en stoppen met roken. Tenminste 50 *kokers* van beide soorten verstrekken aan cliënten.

I would like clarification of exactly what sort of "kokers" they are talking about here - are they simply "packs" (e.g. information packs or the like) or "cases" containing information/instructions/nicotine patches/whatever?

Martin Purdy (asker) Feb 14, 2007:
Thanks for this - it isn't that particular group (I assume Service Apotheek is the name of another group or franchise), but they might still be familiar with the concept. If you wanted to give them a try, that would be much appreciated.
I think this is about Service Apotheek. Please see 'Risicotest' on this site. http://www.serviceapotheek.nl/index.asp
If so, I could call the nearest Service Apotheek to ask them.

I called my pharmacy again (one of the Kring Apotheken). These "kokers" are cylindrical containers, with 5 information leaflets about quitting smoking, and a stress ball. That's all. Purely for informational purposes.
Note from asker:
Fantastic - thanks once again for your help with this.
