I'll probably go away from this place in the next few months as it isn't a place for PROFESSIONAL HUMAN translators anymore. ProZ is so up on the AI hype that even the design has been AI enshittified and doesn't work anymore, and things you see on one page disappear when you refresh or don't show on the public setting. So, on and on, the excess of AI on this site makes it harder to use; it isn't even slop, it's far worse, it's a giant piece of AI crap, with even fake profiles posting bullshit on the forum. It used to be a great, useful site before the pandemic; now it's just untrustworthy AI garbage.
Hopefully, I'm allowed to use the term AI enshittification and its derivatives without any ignorant "moderator" blocking or censoring me. NOBODY from ProZ seems to know anything about linguistic research or translation studies, and that's another cause to leave this website, which is seriously infested with AI bullshit.
Expertise
