I am a native French with more than 12 years of written translation and copyediting experience and a Highest-Honors Master degree in Translation and Interpretation in Spanish/English/French. Currently based in the US, I have been living and working abroad for more than 15 years, developing the unique ability to adapt my proven academic abilities to the complexity and challenges of an expanding multicultural world.
My current job as an English-French translator for the US State Department often requires large-volume urgent turnarounds of sensitive diplomatic documents. This demanding job requires rapid and accurate translations for world-wide release within hours. I thrive in this self-motivated, detail-oriented, and fast-paced environment.
My previous experience at PBS Learning Media as a copy and content editor required me to translate, edit and develop educational content in French, Spanish, and English and eventual online launch of a bilingual collection of more than 950 videos.
Prior to my time with PBS, I worked for several publishing houses as a Spanish-French translator, gaining invaluable work experience across subjects such as architecture, non-fiction, fiction, poetry, travels, and more.
Organization, quality of work and excellence are my mojos.
