Born in Bogota, Colombia.

First two years of university studies at the University of Los Andes in Bogota.

Continued my university years at the University of the State of New York, (Excelsior University today).

Moved to the State of Nevada and enrolled in the University of Nevada where I graduated with a diploma in Spanish for the Professions. 

In 2022 I obtained a Certificate in Medical, Legal and Business translation from the University of Arizona in Tucson.

Worked for many years in the medical research area conducting interviews and translating as well as interpreting for the Hispanic population that were not well versed in the English language. I have also worked as an interpreter in audiences for the Hispanic population relating to Social Security claims, Medicare claims assistance, health insurance claims, credit disputes and counseling, and the translation of documents pertaining to civil legal matters such as traffic citations, divorce proceedings and child support judicial proceedings.

Currently I work translating marketing materials, employment forms, sales contracts, and receipts for a real property inspection company in Phoenix, Arizona. I have also worked transcribing audio tapes for the San Bernardino County, California, relating to criminal matters. Besides that, I have also collaborated with insurance companies transcribing audio interviews of clients involved in auto accidents. I specialize in areas such as translation of business documents in the financial, real estate, marketing, public relations, employment, and contract areas.
