Lingistan

Hello,

My name is Muhammet TAMER, and I am a sworn translator and interpreter working professionally in Turkish (native), French, and English.

I have 15 years of professional experience in translation, interpreting, and language teaching. Throughout my career, I have provided consecutive interpreting services in a wide range of settings, including hospitals, trade fairs and exhibitions, police stations, government institutions, business meetings, and private consultations.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in French Language Teaching / Teaching French as a Foreign Language from a university in Istanbul. I also hold a TÖMER certificate in Teaching Turkish as a Foreign Language.

Between 2010 and 2013, I continued my postgraduate studies in French while working abroad as a French teacher and interpreter. Since 2010, I have gained extensive experience through both institutional positions and freelance assignments.

I currently work as a freelance translator and interpreter, while also teaching Turkish, French, and English. I provide both written translation and on-site interpreting services in Istanbul, as well as remote interpreting services, including:

Over-the-phone interpreting (OPI)

Video remote interpreting (VRI)

On-site / face-to-face interpreting

Written translation

Business and commercial meeting interpreting

Medical, legal, governmental, and general interpreting services

I would be delighted to cooperate with your organization and provide professional language services tailored to your needs.

Additional Chauffeur & Interpreter Service

For clients who require additional assistance in Istanbul, I also offer a combined chauffeur and interpreting service. Upon request, I can pick up clients from the airport in my own vehicle and accompany them to their destinations throughout Istanbul.
