Bio

Hi, my name is Elisabeth and I have been a full-time freelance translator for about a year now. When translating, it is especially important to me to convey not just the meaning of a text, but the tone of it as well. Only then does a translation not feel like a translation - if you know what I mean. My main specializations are audio-visual translation (of series, movies, etc.) and translation of fiction (Fantasy, Fan-fic, Young Adult, Adult Fiction, Erotica). Sometimes, I dabble in community-based game translation. Published books I have translated include Wolfsgeheul (January Bain), Die Axel-Akten: Das Kirschholzkästchen (Jerry Bader), Die Axel-Akten: Das Verschwundene Honjō Masamune (Jerry Bader). I will gladly translate a sample if you require one.
