horizontal band of facade cladding/ facade band construction Explanation: I presume this lovely word stems from "Fassadenband" see: http://www.westiform.com/homepage/html/german/body_d_fassade... for some pictures this equates to facade band or if at the top of the building (as in gas stations, for example) a fascia band. Another alternative is "facade band construction". Whatever, I think the Konstruktion bit is rather redundant here. Your author has a rather pompous style, I'm afraid. |
