Japanese to English Medical Medical: Pharmaceuticals regents
Grade of Regents

Exaample:

Are they "JIS regents grade"?
If so, can it be JIS regents grade1 OK for 試薬1級?
And what about 特級?

Is is not JIS. The JIS grage has other way to show its grade.
The grade E.I., Analytical, for HPLC, U.G.R., G.R., E.P. industrial, etc. is the grade by each maker.

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "Thank you Dr. K and Dr. Shibasaki for your help. I was very confused because the client gave me a glossary mentioning "JIS agent grade", but the text did not mention "JIS" in anywhere in the part I am translating (we are working in team of four translators). It was very helpful and I can trust your comments as I assume both of you are experiences phD doctors. Thanks a lot!"
