I can't figure out what "redounded" means here. Any idea?

: I've not personally encountered 'redounded', half suspect it may be an error in the s/t; but I feel sure this is what is intended. I've certainly come across 'redondé' where in EN we wouldn't necessarily use the p/p (and cf. 'secouru' for 'backed-up')

I too had never heard of it and was about to scream "typo" but there are just too many examples of redondé/redounded

So one of its meanings can indeed mean 'to be redundant' — however, I somehow doubt that this is in common usage today, I rather suspect either someone found it deep in a dictionary, or else tried to invent the word 'redunded' (for 'made redundant') and got spell-checked quite fortuitously to something that did actually mean the same!
