Hi Shirley "chalice" is used figuratively here ...it liteally means a cup or goblet so this "chalice" is "full" of prog-rock aggression ...

agree Dylan Edwards : Yes, "prog" is short for "progressive" and brings to mind, in particular, "prog-rock", that style of rock tending towards the grandiose.
