Grunds�tzlich sicher ein berechtigter Einwand, aber wir haben doch auch dt. W�rter mit unterschiedlicher Bedeutung? Er rettete den (Blumen-)strau� vor dem (Vogel) Strau� ... Im 2. Fall: "maintain" = (bei-)behalten.

Ich bin mir hier nicht sicher, weil es z. B. an anderer Stelle hei�t: In case there was a decrease in the net asset value of the sub-fund (lower stock markets will lead to a lower value of the derivative instruments), the income earned on the investment portfolio will be used to add to the derivative positions. In that case the net assets will be **maintained** and exposure to the underlying index is increased; the total of the investment portfolio does not decrease.

ohne native speakers kritisieren zu wollen. "fulfillment of maintaining.." klingt für mich grundsätzlich merkwürdig. Soll vielleicht heißen: "erfolgreich verwalten"?

Ja, sehe ich auch so - nur so ich den Bruch schon im Original: "fulfillment of maintaining ..."
