ORIGINAL + (organismos para el cumplimiento de la ley) Explanation: Dear Maria, there is no exact translation for Law Enforcement Agency in Spanish. Collins advices an explanation "organismo encargado de velar por el cumplimiento de la ley". It also says : "Law enforcement OFFICER": policía. organismos de procuración de justicia Explanation: Hi María! I do a lot of translation work for the Mexican Government, particularly the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (see my profile). In several Bilateral Agreements signed between the United States and Mexico, law encforcement agencies, Spanish, are always generically referred to as "organismos de procuración de justicia".
