I'm a dual citizen of both Brazil and the US. Having lived most of my life in Brazil, my command of Portuguese is better, but I can translate in both directions. I started translating at the age of 14, when I participated in the translation of a book on epidemiology, with my parents. I've studied translation at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), in Brazil, and I've translated several technical reports for an environmental NGO as well as two epidemiology books. I'm currently a 6th year medical student at UFRGS, so I have a good knowledge of medical terms.
