I have been a full-time Spanish-English-Spanish translator/interpreter for more than 30 years. I have extensive language training, work experience both in the US and in Mexico, and formal studies (National Autonomous University of Mexico (Spanish Language and Literature), the Monterrey Institute of Technology in Mexico (Business Administration), and National University in the US (BA degree in Business Administration, magna cum laude). All this has prepared me well to serve the diverse bilingual needs of the growing global market.

Former newspaper writer: "Tribuna Informativa", a Spanish-language Sunday newspaper column; and periodic writer for "La Prensa San Diego" newspaper. I have strong research, marketing, journalism and public relations skills.

I have extensive teaching experience, both ESL classes in Mexico to business executives, secretaries, university level students, and Spanish classes to business executives in the United States. I am also a Certified Administrative Hearing Interpreter/Translator, as well as a Certified Polygraph Interpreter.

Brief background: Upon returning to the United States after living almost 20 years in Mexico, I established Inter-Lingua, a bilingual business support service providing Spanish translation, interpretation, bilingual assistance and consulting to local, national and international companies. Together with my husband, a CPA and native of Mexico, we work as a team to provide professional, publication-quality translations that are not only technically and grammatically accurate, but highly professional, and above all, culturally sensitive.
