I have worked on construction sites all over Russia as a translator and project coordinator of international engineering teams since 2003. My most challenging job was working on the site of the Russian Chemical Weapon Destruction Complex for 4 years. As an in-house translator of a Finnish design and construction company, I learned the processes and terminology in the field, which improved my translation skills dramatically.
Since 2012 I live and work as a freelancer in the Netherlands. My most favourite and interesting projects are about wastewater treatment, biological water treatment and any related equipment. I love translating for this branch and find it truly fascinating.
I'm fluent in English, Finnish and Dutch and native in Russian. My most common translations include process description, operation and maintenance manuals, product specifications, as well as websites, contracts and drawings.

For the last 5 years, I've been volunteering as a Dutch language tutor for migrants in the local library. I run a reading club for foreigners helping them to bring their Dutch to the next level. Also, I sing in a jazz choir and a project choir for a spectacular open-air theatrical performance.
