I’m a language professional with 20+ years of experience in English–Spanish translation, localization, editing, MTPE, and Linguistic Quality Assurance (LQA), with a career spanning freelance, agency, and in-house environments.

Throughout my career, I have worked across a wide range of content and industries, including e-commerce, digital marketing, technology, telecommunications, healthcare, telemedicine, legal, financial, and technical content. My work has gone beyond translation to include localization, post-editing, linguistic review, terminology research, and quality assessment for US and Latin American Spanish audiences.

More recently, I have expanded my work into linguistic quality assessment for AI training projects, reviewing annotator work involving interactions with AI models across different types of tasks and formats. This work requires careful interpretation and application of project guidelines, strong linguistic and contextual judgment, and close attention to the accuracy, completeness, consistency, and overall quality of the work being reviewed. For me, this has been a natural extension of the analytical and quality-focused work I have developed throughout my career.

Alongside my linguistic career, I also have extensive corporate and operations experience in multinational and international environments, including project coordination, procurement, logistics, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration. This parallel experience has strengthened my ability to work within complex processes, manage competing priorities, adapt quickly to new workflows, and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

I’m particularly interested in opportunities involving Linguistic QA, AI Quality Assessment, language data quality, localization, MTPE, and English–Spanish language services where strong linguistic judgment, analytical thinking, and attention to detail are essential.
