I was working with Indian Express group of Newspapers, Mumbai for 29 years, , out of which last three years as translator, before opting for VRS iin 2004. Besides I was working as Hindi translator on freelance basis for Printcomindia, a magazine devoted to printing industry. Though I don't hold any professional degree as translator, with good vocabulary and good command over Marathi and English, I've been successful in earning the confidence of parties for whom I've worked. I have a computer at home with Internet Connection. I have installed Shree Lipi Ankur software in my PC which is very useful for Devnagari script which is used for Marathi and Hindi. I also use Unicode for Marathi.
I charge according to time required for translation depending on its complexity or easyness. Hence the charges are negotiable.
