I am always looking forward to learning a new word, a new idiom, a new language, getting to know a new culture. When I was a child, I would tell everyone that when I would be a grown-up I would speak every single language on the planet. I just did not know back then how many languages there were! ;) May be that dream came to me because of my background–my mother is half Italian, half Quebecer and partly Métis from the Huron-Wendat Nation which is one of the First Nations in Quebec. Anyway, I guess I am getting there slowly since I am a native French speaker, fluent in English, with a basis in Spanish, German, Italian and a bit of Atikamekw. ;)

My love for words started many years ago. My favourite course in University was Linguistics. I loved it! My classmates used to call me 'the queen of puns' because I've always been really keen on wordplays.
