I am looking for an Amharic Interpreter position. I am a certified Medical Interpreter, and has been working as a medical and community interpreter for a little over three years. I have successfully completed over a 70 hours community Interpreter core Training sponsored by Access Alliance Multicultural Health and Community Services based on curriculum supported by the Health Interpretation and the Ontario Ministry of Citizen and Immigration, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I have also completed Medical Terminology at George Brown College in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Currently, I work for different interpreter agencies here in Washington, DC, and have been working in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I have been interpreting in various setting such as hospitals, clinics, lawyer's office, women's shelter, senior's home, house visits, schools, and telphone interpretation.
