Over the years, I've come to realize that my clients don't hire me simply to translate texts. They rely on me to perceive what words alone cannot fully convey: an intention, a story, a brand identity and the relationship they hope to build with their audience. My role is then to render that intent faithfully in French. That requires far more than linguistic expertise. It calls for thoughtful attention, sound judgement and a genuine understanding of people.

That understanding shapes the way I approach every project. I take the time to develop a thorough understanding before I start translating. I'll ask questions rather than make assumptions, suggest improvements when they genuinely add value, and communicate clearly throughout the process. My clients also know that quality and reliability are never negotiable, and that I'll treat their message with the same care and respect as I would my own.

A little about me

Before becoming a full-time translator in 2012, I spent over fifteen years in education, international cooperation and language centre management, mainly in the United States and Canada. Those experiences continue to shape the way I work today. They taught me to listen before drawing conclusions, to adapt my communication to different people and contexts, and to see every project as a collaboration rather than a transaction. The best work comes from mutual trust, open dialogue and a shared commitment to getting things right.

Based in France, where I was born and raised, I founded WordKeeper Translations in 2014. The name isn't about keeping words intact. It's about remaining faithful to what they are meant to convey, while honouring the trust my clients place in me. That dual commitment guides every project I take on.
