Bio

Early life experience with languages

At a young age, I moved from my birthplace to the United States because of my parents’ work. Having faced complex communication challenges early on, I became fascinated by how language connects people and cultures. This experience naturally led me toward translation and interpreting as a way to bridge worlds and facilitate communication.

Industry experience outside of translation

Before fully dedicating myself to translation and interpreting, I worked in corporate client relations at a multinational company during college, which strengthened my communication, negotiation, and quality-assurance skills. This experience continues to inform my work, enabling me to deliver translations that are not only linguistically precise but also business-oriented and culturally aware.

Interests and personality

Beyond translation, I’m passionate about language teaching, literature, and intercultural communication. I enjoy exploring how words shape perception and identity.

Work I’m most proud of

I take great pride in having translated, interpreted, and worked on subtitling projects across a wide range of fields, particularly legal, medical, business, and audiovisual content, where clarity, accuracy, and timing are essential.

Among my most rewarding projects are translations of a wide range of documents as an expert in the judicial system, live interpreting assignments requiring precision, professionalism, and empathy under pressure, and subtitling projects focused on clear, culturally appropriate communication.

In the literary field, I have translated children’s books published in the United States.

My work process

I combine a meticulous approach with flexibility and adaptability. Every project starts with careful research and consistent terminology management, supported by CAT tools like Trados and MemoQ, and, when needed, subtitling tools. I then revise to ensure the final product reads naturally, is well-timed, and aligns with the client’s goals. I believe professionalism is defined by attention to detail, transparent communication, and respect for deadlines.
