Then he heard the uneven gurgling of an aircraft engine, and suddenly it was like daytime as a flare popped overhead. “Its searing light revealed the transports and destroyers, grotesquely naked. On the horizon,firing began again.” Perkins shouted, ‘Hold on! If we’re going to get it, this is it!’

Source text - Chinese 日本从越南进口的产品主要包括电气设备、石油等矿物燃料、农林水产品、纺织及制品、普通机械、杂项制品等。而越南从日本进口的产品主要涉及普通机械、电气设备、钢铁及制品、化工产品、纺织及制品、汽车及精密机械等。根据协议规定，越南承诺将在10年内对从日本进口商品总额88%的产品取消关税，并对从日本进口的钢铁及制品、汽车零部件、机电及零部件、部分农水产品（鲜花、苹果、梨、柑橘、太平洋鲑鱼）减少市场准入限制（越南的减税安排见表）。而日本则承诺10年内对来自越南商品总额的95%取消进口关税，并将对来自越南的几乎所有工业品取消进口关税，并对从越南进口的榴莲、冷冻菠菜、嫩玉米、天然蜂蜜（配额制）、虾、冷冻章鱼、冷冻刀鱼、除胶合板外的林产品等减少市场准入限制。
Translation - English Import by Japan from Vietnam mainly includes electrical equipment, mineral fuels like petroleum, agriculture, forestry, and aquaculture products, textile materials and products, standard machinery, miscellaneous products, etc, while import by Vietnam from Japan mainly covers standard machinery, electrical equipment, steel and steel products, chemical products, textile materials and products, automobiles, precision machinery, etc. In accordance with the agreement, Vietnam promises to abolish tariffs on 80% of its total import products from Japan and lift restrictions on market access of steel and steel products, auto parts, mechanical and electrical products and their components, and certain agriculture and aquaculture products, such as flowers, apples, pears, oranges, and Pacific salmons, in ten years (See Schedules for the Reduction of Customs Duties of Vietnam in Table 5-3-4).
