As an Italian American who traveled the world as a child, constantly changing languages and schools, I learned at a very young age the importance of communicating with my new world on their own terms and languages.
Worked as a court interpreter, 8 years at Berlitz NYC as a translator and editor, ended up in the film industry where since 1986 I've been translating and adapting screenplays.
Took a hiatus in my early 30s to get a degree in Belgium in Medieval Archeology while paying my studies working as a medical translator.
Back into the workforce, during these past 12 years it's been mostly film and art translations, making myself a name as a dialogue coach.
I've mastered also Legal translations (especially Film Industry Contracts, Location and personal releases, permits etc), and having spent many years in the art world I've mastered the complicated language of Art Critics and Art Historians.
