Bio
I'm Finnish by birth, but have learnt English since I was 4 years old.
I'm married to an English man, and have two grown-up daughters, who I brought up
speaking English.We lived in various countries, UK, Brunei, and UAE, where hardly any Finnish was used,
so English became our Lingua franca. I've become extremely well versed in all things English, but have also retained my Finnish. After 25 years abroad I have recently returned to Finland, and got accepted both in Helsinki and Tampere Universities to study English Translation. Unfortunately due to an accident, and other complications, I haven't been able to continue my studies, but am still able to produce accurate and authentic translations. My husband, who is an English language professional, and an English Lecturer in Tampere Technical University, with over 35 years experience, acts as my native checker, so there is no room for mistakes.
