I have worked with language services most of my life, and I love to interact with people. I am fluent in both English and Portuguese, which makes me totally bi-directional. Thanks to living for many years in Brazil and the USA, I know important cultural differences between these countries, which is essential for efficient and accurate translating and interpreting. At the moment, besides working as a freelance interpreter, I also work as a freelance marketing consultant for a company in Michigan. Based on my passion for communication, my main objective is to find more opportunities to work with language services, especially interpreting.
I have worked with many international companies, such as GM, Chrysler, Rotary International, Allergan, American Consulate, etc.
For translations, my price per word varies according to size of the assignment (amount of work required) and field.
My interpreting fees are based on length of assignment and location, and are charged for either a full day of work, or for half a day. Besides that, I am also willing to negotiate working for hourly fees.
