Spurred by fierce ambition and stubborn assiduity in my duties, I have seized every single working and academic opportunity I have been provided with, which enabled me to gain valuable experience in the field of translation, interpreting and cultural mediation.

I have been working in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce in Trieste as liaison interpreter and steward in fairs and exhibitions (Prosecco – Bubbling style on Show, Triestexpressoexpo and Olio Capitale) promoting both local and national products. Interestingly, I worked as conference interpreter and was responsible for the Italian and English booth in both medical and legal seminars throughout 2012 and 2013, including MEU (Model European Union) in Strasbourg. Proficient mastery of CAT Tools coupled with deep knowledge of the Internet, Office softwares and HTML formats enabled me to cope with huge amounts of work with view to interpreting medical and legal conferences, from which opportunities analytical and organisational skills emerged. Previous translation jobs include legal documents; whence my fields of specialisation: history, literature, tourism and law.

Dealing with four languages and cultures (Italian [mother-tongue], English, French and German), my mind is opened to dialogue my ear being attentive to every piece of advice extending my knowledge and improving my skills and competencies. Equally, liaison and conference interpreting enable to master languages (including my own mother-tongue) proficiently and trains you to develop the reflexes of a conference interpreter, the keeness and background knowledge of a journalist and, more importantly, the rhetorical prowess of skilled and effective communicators, which I am confident to be part of.
