Having partly grown up in the Netherlands I am able to correctly interpret the source text even if it has been written with incorrectly used idioms, colloquial Dutch, obscure cultural references etc. For this reason I really enjoy translating reviews, open questionnaire answers and other texts written by Dutch people who are not professional writers. Creative. I enjoy translating blog posts, newsletters, websites and other marketing material and coming up with English equivalents for jokes and cultural references.
