COVENANT

In the late Bronze Age (1500-1200 B.C.), the Israelites came into Canaan. Their conquest of Palestine took place around 1400 B.C. (Masoretic chronology).1 The Palestinians were part of Canaan. GOD told Israel to destroy Canaan (the Canaanites), along with other nations. If Israel did not destroy them, all those they allowed to live would be a thorn unto them.2
The history of the Palestinians has been traced back to Canaan, the son of Ham. Canaan, the son of Ham, is the father of Sidon (Genesis 10:15-20), i.e., the Phoenician race (black people). Heth (i.e. the Hittites), the Jebusites, the Amorites, the Girgashites, the Hivites, Fellahin, the Arkites (citizens of Arka), the Sinites, the Arvadites, the people of Tartos, the Zemarites, the people of Sumra, the Hamathites, all the Canaanites—from Sidon toward Gerar to Gaza, Sodom and Gomorrah, as well as Admah, Zeboiim, Lasha, and Rephaim—all were giants (Deuteronomy 2:11, 20). The Amorites, the Emims (giants), the Zamzummims or Zuzim, Ammon (or Ham), and the Anak (or Anakim) were also giants (Deuteronomy 3:11, Numbers 13:33).3 Canaan is the father of all these African families, or all of Palestine.4
The covenant, which you could call the Palestinian covenant, or the covenant to all nations, is simply that GOD promises the Palestinians, the Arabs, Iraq, Iran, Lebanon, Korea, and all nations that the land of Israel belongs to Israel (the Jews)!! 5 This is also the Russian covenant, the Chinese covenant, the North American covenant, the South American covenant, the Central American covenant, and all nations’ covenant. This is GOD’S covenant to Israel, Palestine, the U.S.A., Russia, the U.K., China, the Arabs, and the world!!
THE IMPORTANCE OF
THIS WORLD COVENANT
Great importance is connected to this covenant. (1) It reaffirms to Israel, in no uncertain terms, that the title deed of the land of promise still belongs to Israel (the Jews). It doesn’t matter that in the past they have been slack in their service to GOD. GOD knows their hearts, and what HE has promised will come to pass.6 GOD knows their unbelief will turn to belief:7 it is happening now! The land still belongs to Israel, according to the promise of GOD. (2) Further, the introduction of a conditional covenant, under which Israel was then living, could not and did not set aside the original gracious promise concerning the purpose of GOD. This fact is the basis of Paul’s argument when he writes, “The covenant, that was confirmed before of GOD in CHRIST, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect” (Galatians 3:17). (3) This covenant is a confirmation and enlargement of the original Abrahamic covenant.8 This Palestinian or world covenant amplifies the land part of the Abrahamic covenant. The amplification, coming after the willful disbelief and disobedience in the life of the nation, supports the contention that the original promise was given to be fulfilled in spite of disobedience.
THE PROVISION OF
THE PALESTINIAN AND
WORLD COVENANT
This so-called covenant is mentioned in Deuteronomy 30:1-3, 5-9: “And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, and thou shalt call them to mind among all the nations, whither the LORD thy GOD hath driven thee, And shalt return unto the LORD thy GOD, and shalt obey HIS voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart, and with all thy soul; That then the LORD thy GOD will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the LORD thy GOD hath scattered thee [This happened in 1948, and continues to this day.] …And the LORD thy GOD will bring thee into the land which thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt possess it…And the LORD thy GOD will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy GOD with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live. And the LORD thy GOD will put all these curses upon thine enemies…And thou shalt return and obey the voice of the LORD, and do all HIS commandments which I command thee this day. And the LORD thy GOD will make thee plenteous…for the LORD will again rejoice over thee for good.”
When we analyze this passage of Scripture, we see there are seven main parts to the purpose of GOD here. (1) The nation will be put out of the land because of unfaithfulness (Deuteronomy 28:63-68, 30:1-3). (2) There will be a future repentance of Israel (Deuteronomy 30:1-3). (3) Their MESSIAH will return (Deuteronomy 30:3-6). (4) Israel will be restored to the land (Deuteronomy 30:5). This happened in 1948. (5) Israel will be converted as a nation (Deuteronomy 30:4-8, Romans 11:26-27). (6) Israel’s enemies will be judged (Deuteronomy 30:7). (7) The nation will then receive her full blessing (Deuteronomy 30:9).
As I study this passage, I see a wide variety of promises given here which set forth (or should set forth) the purpose of this covenant, not only to the Palestinians, but to the whole world. One has to believe that GOD takes this covenant seriously, and it is extremely important to HIM. GOD not only guarantees its possession to Israel, but obligates HIMSELF to judge and remove all Israel’s enemies and to give Israel a new heart, a conversion prior to putting them in the land.9
This same covenant is confirmed in a later passage in the history of Israel, in a prophecy of the Prophet Ezekiel. GOD confirms HIS love for Israel at the time of her infancy (Ezekiel 16:1-7). HE reminds her that she was chosen, and related to JEHOVAH by marriage (verses 8-14). However, she played the harlot (verses 15-34). Therefore, the punishment of being dispersed was doled out to her (verses 35-52). This is not the final pronouncement or putting aside of Israel, because there will be a restoration (verses 53-63). This restoration is based on GOD’S promise: “Nevertheless I will remember MY covenant with thee in the days of thy youth, and I will establish unto thee an everlasting covenant. Then thou shalt remember thy ways, and be ashamed, when thou shalt receive thy sisters, thine elder and thy younger: and I will give them unto thee for daughters, but not by thy covenant. And I will establish MY covenant with thee; and thou shalt know that I am the LORD” (Ezekiel 16:60-62).
Thus the LORD reaffirms HIS covenant to Israel, to the world, and to Palestinians. By reviewing the LORD’S original promise of the things that must transpire for these promises to be fulfilled—literally fulfilled—we see that (1) Israel must become converted as a nation.10 (2) They must be gathered again back to Israel from the four corners of the earth.11 (3) Israel must be firmly established in her land, which she is made to possess. She must witness the judgment of her enemies, and she must receive the material blessings vowed to her.12
This covenant should have a strong influence on any person who studies end-time prophecy. Most of these things have been fulfilled. All Israel is not Israel.13 Her people have been gathered. Thousands of them believe in JESUS as their MESSIAH. They have not yet seen the destruction of their enemies, but this covenant is an eternal and unconditional covenant, and it demands a complete fulfillment. They are definitely a nation, and are firmly established. The way I see it, there will be more conversions, more persecutions, and then the total destruction of all those who are the enemies of GOD’S chosen people and GOD’S favorite place on earth, Israel (Isaiah 11:11-12, 27:12-13, 43:1-8, 49:8,16, 66:20-22, Jeremiah 16:14-16, 23:3-8, 30:10-11, 31:1-19, 31-37, Ezekiel 11:17-21, 20:33-38, 34:11-16, 39:25-29, Hosea 1:10-11, Joel 3:17-21, Amos 9:11-15, Micah 4:1-8, Zephaniah 3:14-20, Zechariah 8:1-8). This is the promise given to all those saints. No matter that they would not live to see the fulfillment of these promises; they will see it all on resurrection morning, see it all replayed. As GOD promised: The Sabbath was made for man (to rest and watch GOD fulfill all things), and not man for the Sabbath (the rest): So the SON of MAN is LORD even of the Sabbath (of the rest, and fulfillment) (Mark 2:27-28).
There will be peace in Israel when GOD destroys all of her enemies, which shall be very soon!14
Peace will be yours when you accept JESUS the Jewish MESSIAH as your LORD and GOD. It will be your destruction if you fight HIM or HIS people as it was in Jericho.15

At Waterloo, Iowa, a West High School student, a new freshman, grandson of a man I know, was in a class where the teacher was telling the lie about creation, the BIG BANG. Alex Michael Landers stood up and said, “That’s not true, God created the heavens and the earth.” The teacher said, “We’re not allowed to teach that here.” Alex answered, “I refuse to come to school to listen to lies. I’ve come to school to learn the truth.”
To me for a 15 year old young man, this is the most powerful testimony I’ve heard in the public school system. Pray everyone becomes like this young man. Our entire church is extremely proud of him. Let every Christian youth that attends public school do as this young Christian man did and there will be a revival among the youth.

در اواخر عصر برنز (1200-1500 قبل از میلاد) اسرائیلی ها به کنعان آمدند. فتح فلسطین توسط آن ها در حدود سال 1400 قبل از میلاد (رخداد نگاری مازورتیک) به وقوع پیوست داد.1 فلسطینی ها بخشی از کنعان بودند. خدا به اسرائیل گفت که کنعان را همراه با سایر ملت ها نابود کند. اگر اسرائیل آنان را نابود نمی کرد، آن هایی که زنده می ماندند خار چشم اسرائیلی ها می شدند.2

اهمیت این پیمان جهانی
این پیمان از اهمیت زیادی برخوردار است. این پیمان آشکارا یادآوری می کند که سند سرزمین وعده هنوز متعلق به اسرائیل (یهودیان) است. مهم نیست که آن ها در گذشته در خدمت به خداوند کوتاهی کرده اند. خداوند از قلب آنان باخبر است و آن چه که وعده داده است به وقوع خواهد پیوست.6 خداوند می داند که کفر آنان به ایمان تبدیل می شود.7 این اتفاق اکنون در حال وقوع است! طبق پیمان خداوند، این سرزمین هنوز متعلق به اسرائیل می باشد. علاوه بر این، معرفی یک پیمان مشروط، که موجودیت اسرائیل بر اساس آن بود، پیمان رئوفانه ی مورد نظر خداوند را نمی توانست نفی کند و نفی نکرد. این واقعیت مبنای استدلال پائول را تشکیل می دهد: "این پیمان، که قبل از خدا در مسیح تایید شده بود، این قانون، که 430 سال بعد وضع شد، نمی تواند تایید کند که وعده ی بی تاثیر دهد." (غلاطیان 30:17). این پیمان توسعه و تاییدی است بر پیمان اصلی ابراهیمی.8 این پیمان فلسطینی یا جهانی بخش مربوط به سرزمین را در پیمان ابراهیمی تقویت می کند. این تقویت بخشی، به دنبال کفر و نافرمانی عامدانه در زندگی مردم ملت، این مباحثه را تایید می کند که وعده ی اصلی برای این داده شده بود تا علیرغم نافرمانی محقق شود.
انعقاد پیمان فلسطینی و جهانی
به این پیمان در تثنیه ی 30: 1-3، 5-9 اشاره شده است: "و این پیمان محقق خواهد شد، وقتی همه ی این ها به سوی تو می آیند، برکت و لعنت، که قبل از تو نعیید کرده ام، و تو آن ها را از میان تمام ملت ها به یار می آوری، آن جایی که خداوندت تو را به آن سو کشیده است، و به سوی خداوند خود باز می گردی، و طبق هر آن چه که امروز به تو فرمان می دهم از فرمان او اطاعت می کنی، تو و فرزندانت، با تمام قلب خود، و با تمام روح خود؛ آن گاه خداوندت تو را از اسارت رها می کند، و به تو محبت می کند، و باز می گردد و تو را از تمام کشورها دور هم جمع می کند، آن جا که پروردگارت تو را پراکنده ساخته بود (این رویداد در سال 1948 اتفاق افتاد و تا کنون ادامه داشته است) ... و خداوندت تو را به سرزمینی خواهد آورد که پدران تو مالک آن بودند، و تو مالک آن می شوی ... و خداوند قلب تو را احاطه خواهد کرد، و قلب نسل تو را، تا خدای خود را با تمام قلب خویش دوست بداری، و با تمام روح خود، و تو زنده می شوی. و خداوند تو تمام این نفرین ها را برای دشمنان تو قرار خواهد داد ... و تو باز می گردی و از فرمان خداوند اطاعت می کنی و تمام دستورات او را که من امروز به تو دستور می دهم اجرا خواهی کرد. و خداوند جمعیت تو را افزایش خواهد داد ... زیرا خداوند دوباره از خوشبختی تو خوشحال خواهد شد."
هنگامی که این بخش از کتاب مقدس را تجزیه و تحلیل می کنیم، در این جا متوجه 7 بخش اصلی در مورد اهداف خداوند می شویم. (1) این ملت به دلیل بد عهدی از سرزمین رانده می شوند (تثنیه 28: 63-68، 30: 1-3). با مطالعه ی این متن وعده های بسیاری را می بینم که هدف این پیمان را نه تنها به سوی فلسطین بلکه به سوی تمام جهان سوق می دهد (یا باید سوق بدهد). ممکن است فردی بر این عقیده باشد که خداوند این پیمان را جدی گرفته است و بی نهایت برای او مهم است. خداوند نه تنها مالکیت این سرزمین را به اسرائیل تضمین می کند، بلکه خود را وادار به محاکمه و حذف تمامی دشمنان اسرائیل و اعطای یک زندگی جدید، یعنی تبدیلی قبل از مستقر کردن آنان در سرزمین، می کند. 9
این پیمان در کتابی دیگر در مورد تاریخ اسرائیل، در مورد پیش گویی ای از ازیکیل (Ezekiel) پیامبر تایید شده است. خداوند عشق خود را به اسرائیل در دوران طفولیت آن تایید می کند (ازیکیل 16: 1-7). خداوند به اسرائیل یادآوری می کند که او انتخاب شده بود و از طریق ازدواج، با یهوه ارتباط داده شده بود (آیات 8-14). با این وجود نقش یک فاحشه را ایفا کرد (آیات 15-34). از این رو به متفرق شدن تنبیه شد (آیات 35-52). این آخرین اعلامیه ی رسمی یا کنار گذاشتن اسرائیل نیست، زیرا بازگشتی در کار خواهد بود (ِآیات 53-63). این بازگشت به وعده ی خداوند بستگی دارد: "با این وجود پیمان خود را با تو در دوران جوانیت به یاد خواهم آورد، و با تو پیمانی ابدی خواهم بست. آن گاه مسیرهای خود را به یاد می آوری، و شرمنده می شوی، وقتی به خواهران خود می رسی، خواهزان بزرگ تر و کوچک تر از تو، و من آن ها را برای آوردن دختر در اختیار تو قرار می دهم، اما نه توسط پیمان تو. و من پیمان خود را با تو خواهم بست؛ و تو می دانی که من خداوند هستم: (ازیکیل 16: 60-62).
به این ترتیب خداوند مجددا بر پیمان خود به اسرائیل، جهان و فلسطینیان تاکید می کند. با بررسی وعده ی اصلی خداوند به چیزهایی که باید برای تحقق این وعده ها روی دهد، می بینیم که (1) اسرائیل باید به یک کشور تبدیل شود.10 (2) آن ها باید از چهار گوشه ی زمین مجددا در اسرائیل گرد هم آیند.11 (3) اسرائیل باید قاطعانه در سرزمین خود تاسیس شود و برای مالکیت آن ساخته شده است. او باید شاهد محاکمه ی دشمنان خود باشد و باید موهبت های مدی وعده داده شده را دریافت کند.12
