- Make offers from within the content (Native advertising style)
- Retarget visitors to your content with relevant offers (More on this here)
Well, I won’t waste any more of your time with this introduction. I’ll get straight to the point — I know you’re in a hurry.
Here’s 5 fast ways to create blog content your audience will love…
1 – The Embed Reactor
This post is dead simple but the content is fantastic.
Go to YouTube and search for a high quality video from an authority in your niche.
Then, embed it on your blog.
Below the video — write an analysis or a reaction to the video.
Here’s an example of one we did on the Salesforce blog…
You can see the entire post here.
Notice that I explicitly stated, “Here’s my take on this.”
But the bulk of the content was provided by Mark Hunter — a bona fide sales expert.
2 – The Content Aggregator
The Content Aggreagator is so darn simple because you aren’t creating any of the content.
You’re simply aggregating great content from around the web.
This post works great when creating a list post like this one we created at DIYReady.com…

Notice that none of these DIY projects are our content. We simply found 20 great pieces of content, aggregated them together and linked to the original source.
That last point (linking to the original source) is a biggie. Make sure you are giving credit where it is due — link back to the source.
3 – The Interview Post
This post type needs little explanation except to say that you would be shocked at the level of expert that will agree to do an interview with you.
Ask an A-List expert to write you an article and they’ll laugh in your face.
Ask them for an interview and you might be surprised by the answer.
There’s a big difference between asking an expert to write you something and asking them for an interview — it’s an ego thing.
Take a look at this interview post we did on the Crazy Egg blog with, perhaps, the most famous living copywriter in the world, John Carlton…

This interview was conducted by sending the questions to John via email. He wrote the answers and sent them back.
PRO TIP: The easiest way to get a busy expert to agree to an interview is via recorded audio over the telephone. They don’t have to write anything. They don’t need a webcam. They don’t even need to comb their hair. You can then take that audio and have it transcribed or converted into a text interview… or you can simply put it on your blog in audio format.

4 – The Quote Post
I love the quote post because, once again, it leverages the authority of outside experts while creating outstanding content for your audience.
Pick a topic and find relevant quotes from authorities and arrange them together.
As a bonus, you could write a reaction or analysis of that quote — but it’s not necessary.

5 – The Crowdsourced Post
This is one of my favorite ways to create fantastic blog content quickly.
The idea here is to tap into a network of experts or colleagues that can give you their response to a single question. Then, pull the answers together into a single article.
Here’s how to get it done…
Create a quick email that looks something like this and send it to between 5 and 20 experts or colleagues:
“Dear Russ,
I’ve always been a big fan of yours and I’d like to get my audience access to your way of thinking.
I promise it won’t take more than 10 minutes of your time.
I’m creating an article for my personal finance blog about getting through college without racking up a huge amount of debt and I’d love to get your take.
Could you answer the following question in 3-5 sentences?
‘What is the #1 mistake a college goer makes that lands them in crippling debt after graduation and how could they avoid it?’
I’ve already got an answer from [RECOGNIZABLE EXPERT or COLLEAGUE] and I’d love to incorporate your answer into this article as well.
I would be truly honored if you would participate.
~ Your name”
There’s a few things I want to point out about this email script.
- Feel free to tweak the copy to fit your circumstances and the relationship you have with this expert or colleague
- Send this email personally
If you don’t know them well, be sure to flatter them in the beginning and let them know they’ll be getting access to your audience
- Ask them one question about which you know they’ll have an opinion
- If you’ve got other experts or colleagues on board (particularly recognizable ones) be sure to mention that in the email. No one likes to be the first one on the dance floor.
- When you get a reply that indicates interest, thank them and give them a deadline that is 3 to 5 days into the future. Follow up with them the day before and the day of the deadline.
Then, repeat. Send this email to as many experts as you like — I recommend 5 to 20.
Lastly, pull the answers from these experts into a single post.

The beautiful thing about the Crowdsourced post is the amount of social sharing you’ll get from these experts. If you notify them when the article goes live via Twitter, Facebook, Google+, etc… they will share it.
If you do it right, you’ll have an outstanding article full of expert opinions that you can put together by sending a few emails.
I love all five of these post types because they are a Win/Win/Win…
-You win because you didn’t have to spend hours creating a blog post that will keep your list warm, lead readers to an offer and build your retargeting audiences.
- Your audience wins because they get a great piece of content
-The expert wins because you embedded their YouTube video, linked to them, interviewed them or quoted them.
Go forth busy entrepreneur and put these blog post ideas to work for you.

В качестве бонуса, вы могли бы написать реакцию на эту цитату или её анализ, но это не обязательно.

5 – Публикация по принципу краудсорсинга
Это – один из моих самых любимых способов быстрого создания фантастического контента.
Идея здесь состоит в том, чтобы задействовать сеть экспертов или коллег, которые могут дать вам ответ на один и тот же вопрос. Затем скомпонуйте все ответы в одну статью.
Как это можно сделать...
Создайте короткое письмо, похожее на это, и отправьте его 5-20 экспертам или коллегам:
«Уважаемый Расс,
Я всегда был вашим фанатом и хотел бы донести до моих читателей образ вашего мышления.
Обещаю, что это не займет более 10 минут вашего времени.
Я пишу статью для моего собственного финансового блога о том, как закончить колледж и, при этом, не погрязнуть в долгах, и я бы хотел узнать ваше мнение.
Не могли бы вы ответить на следующий вопрос в 3-5 предложениях?
«Какую самую большую ошибку допускают студены колледжей, в результате которой они потопают в непосильных долгах после окончания учебы, и как им этого избежать?
Я уже получил ответ от [УЗНАВАЕМОГО ЭКСПЕРТА или КОЛЛЕГИ] и хотел бы включить также ваш ответ в эту статью.
Буду весьма признателен за ваше участие.
~ Ваше имя».
Есть несколько моментов в тексте этого письма, на которые я хочу обратить внимание:
- смело корректируйте копию с учетом ваших обстоятельств и отношений с этим экспертом или коллегой;
- отправляйте это письмо лично;
- если вы не знаете их хорошо, напишите вначале комплемент и сообщите о том, что они получат доступ к вашей аудитории;
- задайте им такой вопрос, на который, как вы знаете, у них будет своя точка зрения;
- если вы добавили других экспертов или коллег в этот список (в частности узнаваемых), укажите об этом в письме. Никто не любит быть первым на танцполе;
- если вы получили ответ, в котором выражен интерес, поблагодарите их и сообщите им крайний срок в пределах 3-5 следующих дней.
Свяжитесь с ними за день до наступления крайнего срока.
Затем, повторите. Отправьте это письмо наибольшему количеству экспертов – я рекомендую от 5 до 20.
В заключение, соберите ответы этих экспертов в одной публикации.

Welcome to our Spring edition of Bulletin
We’re the Tenant Editorial Panel who work alongside SLH and the designers to make sure the Bulletin is interesting and relevant to you. This issue is really special to us as we’ve decided to make a leap from working behind the scenes on the magazine to having a go at writing the articles. Yikes!
We’ve all had a go at writing at least one story each; they are easy to spot as our names are written underneath the title and there’s a stamp that says ‘Written by the Editorial Panel’ alongside the article. We’ve all really enjoyed doing this and are looking forward to doing more of this in future editions of Bulletin. Watch this space!
This issue is packed full of interesting stories and information about events that you can get involved with. If you’re a keen gardener take a look at the garden competition article on page 7 or you might be interested in the latest cooking on a budget course on page 8. Hurry though, as you will need to book on before the course starts on 30 April. And don’t forget that Neighbours’ Day
is coming up very soon on 29 May. This year, after feedback from you, we are holding one big event in Speke, so don’t miss out on what will be a fabulous day for all the family to enjoy.
SLH has just launched their seven year corporate plan called ‘Our Journey to 2022’ which tells you all about their plans for the future. Take a look at our interview with SLH’s Chief Executive and Chair of the Board on pages 11 and 12 which will give you

Russian to English: Translation of a sampling from the pipe welding instruction General field: Tech/Engineering Detailed field: Petroleum Eng/Sci
Source text - Russian Температуру и время прокалки электродов с основным видом покрытия определяют по рекомендации завода изготовителя. В случае отсутствия рекомендаций завода, необходимо произвести прокалку электродов с основным видом покрытия перед сваркой при температуре 350-380 ОС в течение 1-2 час.
Суммарная длина участков шва с недопустимыми дефектами не должна превышать 372 мм. При наличии дефектов суммарной длиной более 372 мм стык должен быть вырезан.
Длина участка вышлифовки должна превышать фактическую длину наружного или внутреннего дефекта не менее, чем на 30 мм в каждую сторону. Глубина вышлифованного участка должна быть больше глубины залегания дефекта на величину от 1,0 до 2,0 мм.
В процессе сварки следует контролировать межслойную температуру. В случае остывания зоны сварки следует выполнить сопутствующий подогрев.
До начала выполнения ремонта сваркой осуществить предварительный подогрев выборки дефектного участка до температуры, указанной в разделе «Предварительный подогрев».
Замер температуры подогрева выборки дефектного участка сварного соединения осуществлять контактным термометром непосредственно перед выполнением ремонта дефектного участка.
Выполнить наплавку ремонтного валика в местах подрезов или недостаточного перекрытия кромок облицовочного слоя шва электродами с основным видом покрытия Ø 3,2 мм.
После окончания ремонтных работ произвести повторный 100% радиографический и ультразвуковой контроль отремонтированного участка сварного соединения.
Translation - English Temperature and time of basic-coated electrodes baking are determined upon the manufacturer recommendation. If there are no manufacturer recommendations, it is necessary to bake the basic-coated electrodes before welding at a temperature of 350-380 ОC within 1-2 hours.
Total length of welding joint areas with major defects shall not exceed 372 mm. If there are defects of total length over 372 mm the joint must be cut off.
Grinding area length shall exceed the actual length of the external or internal defect not less than by 30 mm each side. Grinded area depth shall be from 1.0 to 2.0 mm deeper than the defect occurrence depth.
During welding it is necessary to control the interpass temperature. In case of welding area cooling down it is necessary to arrange the additional heating.
Before welding repair starts pre-heat a defective area sample up to the temperature shown in Section "Pre-heating".
Heating temperature of the welding joint defective area sample shall be measured by a contact thermometer immediately before the defective area repair.
Face a repair roller in cut-up or insufficient overlap points on a facing run of Ø 3.2 mm basic-coated electrode joint.
After repair works finish repeat the complete radiographic and ultrasonic inspection of the welding joint repaired area.

The fire main diameters shall be hydraulically analysed to ensure that under any fire condition the maximum velocity expected in any section of the fire main shall not exceed 3.5 m/sec.
The fire main network round each process and offsite plot shall be provided with adequate isolation valves to ensure that sections of fire main can be isolated for maintenance whilst still enabling a minimum quantity of firewater to be available to any plot. There shouldn’t be any blind spot for the firewater coverage. The isolation valves shall be placed as follows:
No more than 300 meters of pipe supplying hydrants, monitors or deluge valves shall be removed from service at one time for maintenance or repair.
Four way hydrants shall be providedin process and tankage area,and two-way units in administration areas and shall be “dry type”.The hydrant outlets shall be fitted with hose couplings to match the units used in the area and on the adjacent sites.
The hydrants shall be spaced at about 60 metres apart in process/storage areas and no more than 90 metres apart in administration areas.
Monitor shall be “dry type”. Monitor shall be designed as such that can be rotate to 360° water projection with no blockage from adjacent equipment to the fire hazards.
Water only manual monitors shall be located round the process areas fitted with an inlet ball valve and spray/jet water nozzle rated for a minimum of 1800 l/min capacity at 7 bar g inlet pressure. Monitorsshall be located to cover all high-risk areas, e.g. critical pumps. The monitor performance shall produce a jet of at least 35 metres and the monitors themselves shall be located between 15 and 30 metres from the risk being covered where possible.

Лафетные стволы должны быть «сухого типа». Лафетные стволы должны быть спроектированы таким образом, чтобы они могли вращаться на 360° в процессе разбрызгивания воды, и чтобы рядом стоящее оборудование не загораживало доступ к пожароопасным зонам.
