I have always been fascinated by languages and how they are acquired and used. This curiosity lead me to study neuroscience and linguistics. Two years ago I decided that academia might not be the right place for me, and I began browsing other possibilities. Around the same time I thought that I might be able to contribute to the translation market and started to work as a freelancer.
I am a German native speaker, but I also fluently speak English and Dutch. I dabbled in French and Swedish, and will have some language app open on at least one device every day.
I specialize in scientific content, but am willing and able to help with translating a wide range of content.
