Bio
I'm a freelance proofreader and Japanese-to-English translator working from home in the UK. I lived in Japan for 15 years, working first as an English teacher and then as an editor at an educational publishing company. During that time, I did my best to study Japanese and was able to pass the grade 1 proficiency test.

I spend most of my time doing translation checking work, working mainly on legal and business-related translations. I also enjoy translating academic articles related to economics and other social sciences.
