I am a professional interpreter and translator with many areas of interest exclusively working from/into English into/from Spanish.

I have a solid academic background with degrees and diplomas in Psychology, Political Sciencies and International Studies, Latin American Studies, Spanish Linguistics and Literature and am also ESOL Certified. Additionally, I hold the Master's level of Certification by the Consortium and am one of 55 Federally Certified Interpreters in the United States to this date (2004).

The areas in which I work as an interpreter/translator are: the legal, medical, conferences and lectures (political, medical, financial, technical, media) as well as advertising and also in editing and localization projects.


I have participated as an interpreter/translator in very high visibility assignments such as the simulcast of the proceedings of the Republican Convention held in Philadelphia in the year 2,000 or the presentations at the meetings of The Fund for Democratic Capitalism. I have acted as the personal interpreter for the Presidents Mr. Carlos Menem of Argentina and Mr. Julio Sanguinetti of Uruguay as well as for Mr. William Hague, then leader of the Conservative Party of Great Britain.

I have interpreted at several high-profile trials and also provided bilingual emceeing services for many meetings. I have been part of large translation and localization efforts for political consultants and the hospitality and tourism industry.
