I first discovered my love for languages whilst at secondary school. So, after completing my A Levels I went on to study French and Spanish at the University of Sheffield and split my year abroad between universities in Bordeaux and Granada. I am now married to a Frenchman so translate on a personal level on a daily basis. However, my translation skills on a professional level took off when I spent a year living and working in the African country of Gabon, where I translated for a range of organisations, including for the First Lady at the presidential household as well as an architecture firm. I hold a Masters in International Relations so am keen on the subject areas of human rights, public policy and the environment. Also, outside of work I am an avid motorsport fan and musician.
