Source text - English RESUMO: Partindo da hipótese de que as reivindicações feministas impactam na adaptação de contos de fadas para o meio cinematográfico, esta pesquisa visa identificar na história os pontos da mudança social de gênero que se reverberam nas animações disneynianas, assim como investigar os contextos dessas mudanças por meio da análise de dissonâncias entre textos, com base nos conceitos da Tradução Intersemiótica, Análise Crítica do Discurso e Estudos de Gênero; tal análise é importante pelo fato dessas histórias tem o potencial de imprimir características identitárias a todo o gênero feminino, na extensão da construção de identidades por meio de representações midiáticas.
Translation - Portuguese ABSTRCT: Assuming that feminist vindications have an impact on the fairy-tale adaptation to cinema, this study aims to pinpoint in the stories gender’s social change cues that reverberate on Disney’s animations, as well as to investigate these changes’ context by analyzing text dissonances, based on Intersemiotic Translation, Critical Discourse Analysis and Gender Studies’ concepts; said analysis is important because these stories have the potential to print identity characteristics onto the entire feminine gender, in the extent of identity construction by media representation.
