Source text - English The owners of the shop, Carlos and Leticia Noyola, and their son Diego, enthusiastically opened the five cases for us to reveal paintings, drawings, lacquered boxes, notes, letters, books, miscellanea, and clothing. Hundreds of artifacts were jumbled together within the cases. Suddenly it was as though I had walked into an estate sale, or was exploring an attic---the experience was so familiar to me, and it triggered my collecting impulse. Born in San Miguel de Allende to a bi-lingual family, I grew up speaking English and Spanish natively. I spent most of my childhood in my hometown where I studied Communication Science in Valle de Mexico University, Business Administration in De Leon University and Tourism & Hospitality in San Miguel de Allende University.
I also lived in Vancouver, Canada for a total of eight years where I became an Audio Visual Engineer at Pacific Audio Visual Institute and worked in the industry for Rogers Arena, The Roxy and other venues.
