Educated and raised in both Korea and the US. Completely fluent in written and spoken Korean and English, with a solid grasp on the subtle cultural nuances within both languages. Lived in several countries, including Australia and the UK.

Worked as a Korean/English translator for the management consulting company, Arthur D. Little.

Experience writing and editing for English and Korean business & trade magazines and travel magazines. Dealt with topics that included social, economic, political and employment issues; science and medical issues; consumer and business trends; cultural and art events/topics; and travel destinations, to name a few.

Experience translating articles and documents on the semiconductor industry (Hyundai Electronics and LG Electronics, Korea); translating general medical and science documents; interpreting for legal hearings; interpreting for a business deal for Northern Light Technology; translating and editing subtitles for feature films, documentaries, DVDs and video games.

Worked as a PR account manager dealing with clients and the press in the tourism, travel and transportation industries. Responsibilities always included translating and interpreting on a daily basis and supervising/managing the translated work of others.
