I am a Native Portuguese Electrical Engineer, having done 2 years of my degree in South Africa and the rest in Portugal. Translation has always been part of my job description. I worked for some years in a Portuguese Company in Mozambique, as an Engineer, but I was also responsible for translating machine operating manuals, articles in scientific magazines, etc. Having returned to Portugal I went to work under the same conditions for a smaller firm and now I am freelancing. I recently acquired a certificate in Computer Science, mainly programming languages, web design and database planning and implementation. At the moment I'm doing freelance technical translations and translating novels for a publisher. My rates are negotiable, according to the type of work and the deadline.
