Bio
Hey there! My name's Peter, though I also go by Pedro, or Pinchas in transliterated Hebrew. I am a lifelong educator, writer, translator, and traveler, currently based in Lima, Perú but always on the move. I've lived in Perú, Colombia, Chile, Argentina, and more over the past years, and have spent time in all the contiguous United States and Canada. As a literary professional, I was taught editing, proofreading, writing, and translating from a young age in a variety of the top U.S. institutions, though as an auto-didact and lifelong learning, I continue to find new opportunities to study formally and informally wherever I go. Hence, I now have over 12 years of teaching and translating experience, and I've been a poet, essayist, and skilled editor since elementary school. I work with a great variety of texts and disciplines, and have had all manner of clients, but I'm more recently reentering the digital landscape, as prior to the pandemic I only took on in-person clients. I'm excited to bring my talents, skills, and passion for languages and translating to this platform and to meet many new clients along the way. I think you'll be thrilled by what I have to offer and my unique perspective and skill set.
