I graduated from NYU Tisch School of the Arts and received a BFA in Film & Television. I have been working in the film industry in a variety of capacities (writer, producer, director, script supervisor) for over 25 years, but a skill that I also use in my work is translating from French to English as I have been fluent in French for several decades while being a native American speaker.

I have taught French online through Strommen Tutoring Services in Los Angeles. I am also currently living in Canada where I use my French on a weekly basis for filming commercials -- as all advertising for Canadian markets is shot in both English and French.

i have translated on both documentary and fiction films, have lived in France and understand contemporary dialogue, colloquialisms, and slang :)  As a dramatic writer myself, I can appreciate the nuances of subtext and emotion that are so essential to translating dialogue accurately.
