Bio

I am and have always been passionate about the English language. I have a Bachelor's degree in English Literature and Language and a two year specialization course on Translation (both courses attended at the University of São Paulo). That was back in the 80s. I have worked as a teacher of English as a second language most of my life; I feel that now is the moment to change my career if I get a chance.

I have lived in the UK for over 7 years and I have done translation work but never as a professional; I have also dedicated myself to a lot of volunteer work. 

At the moment I am a volunteer at ProZ Pro Bono program and at CaptionHub (TEDtalks).

My hope is that I can work as a professional now and show that I am a dedicated, hard-working and loyal translator that will not disappoint.
