My name is Ori Rotem Pieprzyński, and I'm an English-Hebrew translator, an avid linguaphile, and a culture buff. I specialize in translating academic papers, essays, programmes, booklets, articles, and various journalistic content. In 2023, I completed my associate's degree in Translation from Beit Berl College, following a few years of independent work as a translator.
My primary focus is on translating content in the fields of Art (History of Art, History of Classical and Popular music, and Cinema) as well as Humanities (Philosophy and History, specifically Central European and Polish History) and Social Sciences (Psychology, Sociology, Geography, Media, and more). I have experience in website translation and localization, translation of commercial content, and subtitling as well.
I am particularly well-versed in Central European history and culture, most specifically Polish history, politics, and culture. Over the past two years, I’ve provided numerous translations of Judaistyka (Jewish studies) reading material for Polish university students.
