Insulting them, accusing them of "destroying" the state, and sending waves of ICE agents into Minneapolis — claiming he's cracking down on fraud, crime, and failed assimilation.
But what's really behind this sudden campaign?
Why Minnesota? Why the Somali community? And why now?
To understand it, we need to move past the speeches and ask a basic question: What happens when political rhetoric replaces evidence?
It seems Minnesota became the perfect stage for a manufactured crisis.
The $250 million referenced by the Trump administration — a very real scandal, the Feeding Our Future fraud — was turned into a political storyline that portrayed Somalis as the core of all corruption.
But here's the part Trump and his supporters never say out loud: the architect of the entire fraud was not Somali.
It was Aimee Bock — a white nonprofit director who created the scheme, defended it, and even used accusations of racism to shield it from investigation.
Yes, Somali participants were involved. But the structure, planning, and leadership of the fraud were Bock's. The U.S. Attorney's Office in Minnesota — led by a U.S. Attorney appointed by the President — identified her as the "mastermind."
And this is where the contradictions become impossible to ignore.
While Somali families — 95% of whom are U.S. citizens — are being threatened with residency loss, deportation, and targeted policing over this $250 million scheme committed by a handful of people…
