Terminology management is essential to success of the technical translation. I have accumulated terminology bases of various fields (English to Chinese) through research over Internet and years of translation experience. Most important of all, I have also converted them to MultiTerm termbases which is seamlessly integrated with the interactive translation process of SDL Trados. With this, I can translate terms consistently throughout the projects awarded at different times. This is especially beneficial when translating technical document where huge amount of terms, part names are used.
