A native of Germany, Barbara Heitmann is a professional translator of English and Chinese.

Working with language is her passion - not only delivering a correct translation but transferring the intended meaning in all its layers from one linguistic context to another.

She has lived and worked three years in China (Ningbo, Zhejiang province) as a teacher and Marketing Manager. 2011, she relocated to the US (greater Seattle area), living the American dream of entrepreneurship by running a successful printshop.

Now she's back to working with language, offering translation services for English / German and Chinese / German in the fields of business, marketing and finance.

Barbara is a member of ATA (American Translators Association) and BDUE (Federal Association of Interpreters and Translators, Germany).
