Source text - English 1. Description of the joint project
Bam 3D is a triple project structured around a 3D scenario of the city of Bam and its surroundings. It is the virtual presentation of the area, with realism and exactness, which is used in an adapted way in the various project areas for specific purposes.
Thus, in the ExpoBam 3D project, which is a Museum exhibition which will take place in Tehran, the scenario is exhibited on a screen of a virtual reality room by means of a powerful projector. This room is a different space in the exhibition where the visitors will have the opportunity to fly over the Citadel of Bam and even walk around the city, reconstructed with great realism. The visitor will be able to appreciate what Bam was like before and after the earthquake, and see the projected reconstruction plans.
Apart from the scenario, in Expo Bam 3D there is a multitude of multimedia contents.
In the www.bam3d.org project, the scenario is integrated with special technology which allows the Internet visitor to carry out the same functions than those of the exhibition visitor. The virtual scenario is the same, but some 3D elements, such as the Citadel and the reconstruction projects, has optimised geometry to provide a fluid online navigation.
The site takes advantage of the museum multimedia contents and of others which, due to space limitations, cannot be physically exhibited. It also incorporates a news system and abundant material. This will be the essential reference point of Bam in Internet.
The 3D scenario of Bam Urban Projects is the most complete and detailed, as in this case, the users will be the Iranian Administration technicians who will use it as a project management tool. Given the meticulous work with which the virtual reconstruction of the Citadel will be carried out, it will also be used as an essential instrument to assess, plan and carry out the physical reconstruction works of the monument.
As can be seen, the proposed project architecture seeks maximum exploitation of the contents, products and services used. Supported on implicit synergies of each of the stages, a same product is achieved to be exploited by various groups. This greatly helps the definition and setting up of objectives, and it is an efficient mechanism to avoid dispersion and the usual opacity in the management of humanitarian aid projects, given that all the concepts are shared by all.

Bam 3D es un proyecto triple estructurado alrededor de un escenario en 3D de la ciudad de Bam y sus alrededores. Se trata de la presentación virtual de la zona, con realismo y exactitud, la cual es utilizada de una manera adaptada en las varias zonas en proyecto para fines específicos.
De esta manera, en el proyecto ExpoBam 3D, que se trata de una exposición tipo museo y que tendrá lugar en Teherán, podemos ver el escenario en una pantalla situada en una sala de gran realidad virtual mediante un proyector potente. Dicha sala es un lugar diferente en la exposición donde los visitantes tendrán la oportunidad de volar sobre la Ciudadela de Bam e incluso pasear alrededor de la ciudad, reconstruida con un gran realismo. El visitante podrá observar cómo era Bam antes y después del terremoto y ver los planes de reconstrucción proyectados.
Además del escenario, en Expo Bam 3D hay una multitud de contenidos multimedia.
En el proyecto www.bam3d.org, el escenario se integra con una tecnología especial que permite que el que visita la web pueda llevar a cabo las mismas funciones que aquéllos que visitan la exposición. El escenario virtual es el mismo, pero algunos elementos 3D, como son la Ciudadela y los proyectos de reconstrucción, disponen de una geometría optimizada que proporciona una navegación fluida por Internet.
La web se aprovecha de los contenidos multimedia del museo y de otros que, debido a limitaciones de espacio, no se pueden exponer físicamente. También incorpora un sistema de noticias y mucho material. Éste será el punto de referencia esencial de Bam en Internet.
El escenario 3D de Proyectos Urbanos en Bam es el más completo y detallado, ya que en este caso, los usuarios serán los técnicos de la Administración iraní que lo utilizarán como una herramienta para la gestión del proyecto. Dado el trabajo meticuloso con el que la reconstrucción virtual de la Ciudadela se llevará a cabo, también se utilizará como un instrumento esencial para calcular, planificar y llevar a cabo los trabajos de reconstrucción física del monumento.
Como se puede observar, el proyecto de arquitectura propuesto busca la explotación máxima de los contenidos, productos y servicios utilizados. Respaldado por sinergias implícitas de cada una de las fases, un mismo producto se puede aprovechar gracias a diversos grupos, cosa que ayuda en gran medida a definir y a asentar los objetivos. Además, es un mecanismo eficaz para evitar la dispersión y la opacidad habitual en la gestión de proyectos de ayuda humanitaria, dado que todos comparten todos los conceptos.
