Translation - English Foundation
For the Princess Amalia Wind Farm, a monopile foundation was selected. A monopile is a 320-ton steel tube with a diameter of approximately 4 metres and a length of approximately 50 metres. If the weather conditions allow it, three monopiles and three transition pieces will be loaded onto the Jumping Jack and dragged to sea. The Jumping Jack is a type of jack-up rig or self-elevating platform that fixes itself on the sea-floor using four feet and is then able to fully lift itself from the water. This is how a stable working island of 100 by 30 metres is created, from which the installation activities can take place.
The Jumping Jack has a lifting capacity of 1,200 tons and is used to drive the foundations into the sea-floor. At the start of this process, the monopile is discharged horizontally and placed vertically on the sea-floor. A special gripper ensures that the monopile is levelly positioned before it can be driven into the ground. Each monopile is driven 30 metres into the ground in approximately 2 hours.
A “J-tube” is then fitted around the monopile, leading the cables from the wind turbine to the sea-floor. The last section of the foundation is the transition piece. This forms the connection between the monopile and the tower. The transition piece is fixed to the monopile using a cement-like substance called ‘grout’.

Budget-friendly decency
Adam Opel learned the tricks of the trade in Belgium. He built his first Opel in 1898. Since then, ‘der Blitz’ has formed an integral part of the street scene. Towards the end of the roaring twenties, the corporate giant American General Motors acquired the brand. Opel then took the world by storm with resounding names such as the Regent, Kadett, Record, Captain, Astra … From its headquarters in Rüsselsheim and Bochum, the German car producer developed itself into one of the foremost post-war volume producers of Europe. In 1953, an Opel plant became operational in Antwerp. And it is no coincidence that 50 years later Beerens settled in Opel's former production facility. Nowadays Opel continues to surprise the world with a combination of technologically advanced cars and budget-friendly decency. Opel has also become a household name in the fleet segment. When it comes to passenger cars and light commercial vehicles, Opel’s portfolio holds all the trumps.
Translation - English Budgetvriendelijke degelijkheid

Source text - Dutch Previously, failures of IT systems that used to take business operations down for a day or more were frustrating. Today, a system downtime of that magnitude could potentially lead to a direct loss of hundreds of thousands of euros, diminish corporate reputation and affect relationships with customer and partner organisations.
One thing you can be sure of with computers is that, eventually, they will break down. There are multiple threats to systems – natural disasters can strike, but actually a failure is far more likely to be caused by human error, a hard drive crash or virus attack. The potential for data loss and system downtime is often underestimated.
