Macedonian to English:
Source text - Macedonian
На колонијата учествуваа: ( Timo Máhónen – Finland, Anka Krashna – Slovenia, Ervin Kralj – Slovenija, Sinisha Kashavelski – Kumanovo, Tanja Tanevska – Skopje, Trajche Blazjevski – Skopje, Anka Danailovska – Kumanovo, Jordan Janev – Gevgelija and Angel Karajanov – Gevgelija.)
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Translation - English ART – THE SACRED SPIRITUAL FATHERLAND
There go on the journeys of the artists around their spiritual fatherland. There go their lucid dreams on. There go on their argonautic expeditions to make sense of the oceanic quietude of soul; there go on the struggle against oblivion and the efforts to solve the riddle of our transience. In a dramatic time, there come the artists to finish the dream of the instant and of the present infinite tense…
This year the JUGOSVEN 2006 Art Colony grew into an international event. The participants of the colony were: Timo Máhónen – Finland, Anka Krashna – Slovenia, Ervin Kralj – Slovenija, Sinisha Kashavelski – Kumanovo, Tanja Tanevska – Skopje, Trajche Blazjevski – Skopje, Anka Danailovska – Kumanovo, Jordan Janev – Gevgelija and Angel Karajanov – Gevgelija.
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Art is the spiritual fatherland of artists and it spreads as far as their works do. Artists travel all the waysides of light and encountering the stars of Bethlehem and the rivers of Babylon they try to comprehend the world. Artists’ paintings are illumination, elevation and epiphany. The roadside signs indicate celestial heights and archetypal roots. An artist is an eternal tracer of primordial images and puzzling vistas, of invisible worlds and mysterious landscapes.
Artists are indefatigable tracers of the sublime creative silence which synthesizes colours, symbols, archetypes and myths. Thus their paintings become icons of the time and a lifecreating dialog with the person who in the works of art discovers civilizational and anthropological values as well as a philosophical dialogue with the world.
The works of art made of the fabric of the eternal dream become an existential cosmoscript. Standing in front of the secret gates of the unreachable, sacral and amazing, artists look like modern Sisyphus’s trying to reach the sunny side of Time. In the temple of art only the works limned with the artists’ blood abide. In the secret book of life the works of art shall forever shine like spiritual lighthouses bridging centuries and civilizations.
The journey of the artists goes on through the waysides of the divine, the sacral, the cosmic, the numinous, the mystical, the harmonic, the original, the astral, the fascinating…
The spiritual fatherland gives birth to new life-giving neonates.

1. LIMA – LAD
