I have experience in translating medical and other documents. I have been an interpreter for patients during doctors' appointments or when communicating with other health care personnel. I am knowlegeable in medical terminology, as I am also a Registered Nurse in an Operating Room. Also, I am interested in literary translation. I enjoy the challenge of taking the precise tone of the original text and finding the most accurate way to express it in another language so that it also fits the cultural framework of the text's new language.

I am a member of the American Translators Association and have completed assignments both independently and via Boston area agencies (American translation Partners, Certified Interpreting Services). I am currently working towards completing my accreditation.
